I returned home last night to some lovely birthday gifts, including a new Hermès silk scarf. This is the Trésors Retrouvés in the rouge/rubis/violet colourway.

The design is based on Afghan artifacts hidden at the start of the war and now rediscovered and displayed at the National Museum of Kabul. There’s a few strange things going on like figures riding jeweled fish. I particularly like the simple colour combination used in the design. I am very lucky sometimes!
